Quickstart
AlphaScout's data, in your own tools and your AI assistant. A REST API and an MCP server, both included in every plan.
1. Create an API Key
Sign in, open Account → API and choose Create Key. The key starts with as_live_ and is shown once, so copy it somewhere safe. Keys belong to your workspace; owners and admins can create and revoke them.
2. Make a Request
Pass the key as a Bearer token. This returns the five highest-ranked hidden gems in South Asia:
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer as_live_…" \
"https://tryalphascout.com/api/v1/gems?region=south_asia&limit=5"Every item carries a gem_score from 0 to 100, labels, and a gem.breakdown that lists the reason behind each point of the score with a link to the evidence.
3. Go Further
- API Reference: gems, companies, releases, signals, comparables and the scoring rules, with every filter.
- MCP Server: let Claude Code, Cursor or VS Code query AlphaScout directly.
- Limits and Errors: 60 requests a minute, 10,000 a day, and how paging works.
- openapi.json: the whole API as an OpenAPI 3.1 file, for generating a client.
